LOS ANGELES--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Jan. 23, 2009--AECOM Technology Corporation (NYSE: ACM), a leading provider of professional technical and management support services for government and commercial clients around the world, today announced that it has been awarded a 10-year contract by Florida's Broward County Aviation Department to manage its airport-expansion program in support of the approximately $1-billion capital improvement program at Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport.

Experts from AECOM's aviation practice will manage the development program, which includes a new south runway and modifications to Terminal 4, including the addition of new gates. AECOM's services will include program management and planning, environmental compliance, design management and oversight of the construction management consultants.
