Lara Poloni is Chief Executive of Europe, Middle East, India and Africa (EMEA) at AECOM (NYSE:ACM), a premier, fully integrated infrastructure firm that designs, builds, finances and operates assets for governments, businesses and organizations in more than 150 countries.

In this role, Ms. Poloni leads a team of over 18,000 professionals working in almost 50 countries serving public and private sector clients across key infrastructure and property sectors including defense, transportation, water, energy as well as all facets of city planning, design and construction. She is also a member of AECOM’s Executive Leadership Team at the enterprise level.

Over a career spanning more than 25 years, Ms. Poloni has predominantly worked in the planning, assessment and development of major infrastructure in the transport, energy and telecommunications sectors and until recently has been a Board Member of Infrastructure Partnerships Australia.

Ms. Poloni has held several leadership positions since joining the AECOM team in 1994, including as Chief Executive of AECOM’s Australia New Zealand operations from 2014 before moving into her EMIA role in October 2017. She has a particular interest in growth initiatives aligned to AECOM’s vision of being the world’s premier fully integrated infrastructure firm. She is also passionate about AECOM’s leadership development and the firm’s client service excellence initiative.
