|AECOM among firms that win U.S. Army Engineering and Support Center Worldwide Environmental Remediation Services IDIQ contract valued up to US$945 million|
LOS ANGELES, Jun 17, 2010 (BUSINESS WIRE) --AECOM Technology Corporation (NYSE: ACM), a leading provider of professional technical and management support services for government and commercial clients around the world, announced today that it is one of eight firms to be awarded an Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract by the U.S. Army Engineering and Support Center in Huntsville, Ala.
Under the Worldwide Environmental Remediation Services IDIQ Program contract, AECOM will primarily provide environmental and munitions response-remediation services. The contract has a period of performance of two years with three one-year option periods and a maximum value, over the life of the contract, of up to US$945 million.
For its first task order, AECOM will provide planning and removal of unexploded ordnance and related material for the construction of a new multi-purpose training range at Fort Benning, Ga.
