AECOM awarded $10-million U.S. Army Corps of Engineers contract

Hydraulic and hydrologic modeling, engineering services will support improvements in fish passage and sediment, water quality throughout the Columbia and Willamette river basins in Washington and Oregon

LOS ANGELES--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Nov. 23, 2009-- AECOM Technology Corporation (NYSE: ACM), a leading provider of professional technical and management support services for government and commercial clients around the world, announced today that it has been awarded a five-year, $10-million contract for hydraulic, hydrologic and environmental engineering design services by the United States Army Corps of Engineers’ (USACE) Portland, Oregon, District.

AECOM experts will perform technical studies and design analyses for spillways, outlet works, power facilities, canals, navigation locks, navigation channels, and harbor and coastal projects, plus perform site assessments and investigation of water and sediment quality.
