Daniel P. McQuade is Chief Executive, Construction Services, for AECOM (NYSE:
ACM), an $8-billion global provider of professional technical and management support
services. AECOM’s 45,000 employees — including architects, engineers, designers,
planners, scientists and management and construction services professionals — serve
clients in more than 150 countries around the world.
In this role, Mr. McQuade is responsible for the strategic direction of the business line,
driving new business and expanding opportunities for Construction Services globally.
He also leads efforts to utilize AECOM’s project delivery expertise and personnel to
engage in joint pursuits with other business lines. Additionally, he is a member of
AECOM’s Executive Committee at the enterprise level. Known for building iconic
facilities, AECOM’s Construction Services business, including its Tishman
Construction operation, is currently overseeing the redevelopment of the World Trade
Center site in New York City, phase one of Greenland USA’s Metropolis mixed-use
development in Los Angeles, and the new Midfield Terminal at Abu Dhabi International
Previously, Mr. McQuade served as Chief Operations Officer for Construction Services
in the United States and, prior to joining AECOM, he was President of Tishman
Construction, where he led landmark projects including CityCenter, the $8.5-billion, 18-
million-square-foot, mega-development situated on 67 acres in the heart of the Las
Vegas Strip. He also managed the construction of the $880-million, 1.8-million-squarefoot
Boston Convention and Exhibition Center and the 135-acre Disney Hollywood
Studios (formerly Disney-MGM Studios) in Orlando, Florida.
Mr. McQuade began his 30-year career in the construction industry as an assistant
superintendent with Tishman. Since then, he has directed building projects of virtually
every size, scope and purpose, including hotels, resorts, casinos, offices, academic
buildings, convention centers, theme parks, theaters, laboratories, residential highrises,
data centers, airport terminals, and hospitals.
