Susan M. Frank is Senior Vice President and Assistant General Counsel for Global
Compliance for AECOM (NYSE: ACM), an $8-billion global provider of
professional technical and management support services. AECOM’s 45,000
employees – including architects, engineers, designers, planners, scientists
and management and construction services professionals – serve clients in
more than 140 countries around the world.
In this position, Ms. Frank advises and leads the company’s Ethics and
Compliance program and serves as the Executive Sponsor of AECOM’s
Global Women’s Council. Ms. Frank brings more than 30 years of
international compliance experience to her role. She was a member of the
Department of State delegation to the first UN treaty initiative combating illicit
payments in the public sector. Her experience includes qualifying and
practicing as a solicitor in London and as a partner with Sonnenschein, Nath
& Rosenthal in its Washington, D.C. office.
Prior to joining AECOM, Ms. Frank served as SAIC’s chief international
counsel on issues such as the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act, export control,
multilateral and U.S. sanctions and other regulatory issues. She designed
user-friendly compliance systems and in 2006 was honored as a “Woman
Who Means Business” by Washington Business Magazine. In 2011,
Ethisphere Magazine listed her as one the “Attorneys Who Matter” in the
ethics and compliance area. Ms. Frank also received the AECOM CEO’s
award for excellence in 2011 and was featured in the January 2012 issue of
Ethikos. Ms. Frank also worked for Lockheed Martin, assisting its PAE
subsidiary as a legal advisor.
